Extremely basic
Extremely basic. Not even shampoo / conditioner or a bottle of water provided in the room. No information on how to call reception if anything needed. A comfortable bed but everything else so basic. Wouldn’t stay again.

Stayed for 4 days prior to our tour and then back for a night - loved our first 4 days room reception staff breakfast staff etc returned and it was like a different hotel - reception staff rude no service at bar and the room a dog box. Had recommended to many but I have now advised them not to stay there. Very disappointing

Think Twice About this One
We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn which we thoroughly enjoyed we then went on tour for 5 nights and booked a further night at Holiday Inn. Well in 5 days the place had completely changed we were allocated a shoebox of a room with 2 single beds, dormitory style - I went downstairs to complain and was promptly told there is never a guarantee of getting a double bed & the hotel was full and there was nothing they were prepared to do about it - we then went to the bar for a drink with friends from our tour as we arrived the bar man disappeared we waited10 minutes and then went to reception to ask for service and was promptly told he was cooking pizza and too busy to serve - when suggesting they provide more staff to cope with service for the customer I was told I was a complainer. All in all a horrible experience. I had told everyone how impressed I was with the hotel but have now emailed everyone saying I have made a mistake and don’t go there. The manager on duty a female was a very rude young lady who preferred to to outside for a cigarette than service the 6 people waiting to purchase drinks - if you choose to stay certainly check what sort of room you have been allocated before arriving.

A little out of the way
Location was not so great - it cost me 35 euros to get to the hotel in a taxi from the train station. I didn't feel that safe walking around that part of the city in the evening whilst I had felt very safe in other parts of Paris. Room was ok and clean and staff were very helpful and reasonably friendly. Breakfast was ok - average - but I had been staying in B&Bs in the UK so expectations were fairly high..
