Had a corner room and amazingly floor to ceiling glass walls. Very convenient location, just three blocks from the magnificent mile and Whole Foods just around the corner. Breakfast options was good too.

The Dana is situate north of the river and near all the attractions and leading retailers. The staff are friendly and happy to assist. The room was spacious and clean. A great hotel, staffed by polite and courteous people

Room was too small for the price. BT speaker did not work. The volume on the tv was very low. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom as well as rust on the showerhead and bathroom countertop. Molding by the bed was out of place and sticking out. Phone did not work. The balcony was extremely narrow and tiny for what we paid. We were never offered fresh towels or other bathroom essentials. Refrigerator was not cold enough. Did not cool our perishable items.

Stay away from this place, it's not worth it.
Fancy photos you see online are deceiving and old. I was really looking forward to staying there, but when I arrived to the establishment, I was met with busted front windows, planters full of cigarette butts, empty plastic bottles & random garbage. As soon as I walked in I noticed how filthy and unkept the floors, stairs and reception was, I assume, that they clean extremely rarely, even during COVID when it's more important, than ever. For the few days I was at the hotel I didn't see anyone clean common areas at all. Weed smell everywhere. I booked my hotel room about a month in advance for 2 people, despite of it, it was accommodated for 1 guest. The furniture was dated and beat up, I'm guessing that nothing has been replaced since former Dana hotel opened its doors over a decade ago. Pretty embarrassing. There was black mold inside the empty mini bar, webs, rusted fire sprinklers, the windows in the panoramic room had bird poop on them, they provided thin see-through gas station like toilet paper, there were dirty cotton balls and used, sticky bottle of lotion too. Bubbled up paint and cracked, moldy ceiling in the bathroom, right by the rainforest shower head they boast so much about in the description. Mind you, I paid nearly $300 per night to stay at this *cough* luxury hotel. They chose to inform me there was gonna be no amenities/room service at check-in. Rude, unprofessional, money-hungry management. Hands down, the worst hotel I've ever stepped into.

From the time of check in we were please. We took the train and it arrived several hours before check in. We were able to check in early and get settled to begin our day. 9th floor with a balcony view and we were very happy with that. Room was clean and cozy. When i called down for extra pillows the request was granted within minutes. Although we didnt need housekeeping, they asked if we needed anything. Staff was so nive and accommodating.
