A charming, small hotel that is faultless in every respect. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very capable. The property itself is so special, an icon of Portuguese splendour from the 1920s. It is in imaculate condition. The food is excellent, and the bar is lovely. On our first stay, we had the smallest room in the property; it was just fine. This time, we had one of the larger Garden rooms, with a small terrace and easy access to the outdoor pool area too. It was just perfect.
