Good but not amazing
1st key did not work so hiked back to reception and was given a different room. Room was comfy and clean but freezing cold, the heating was so noisy I could not stand it. Only soap in the bathroom , no shampoo , was a bit annoyed by that. Glad I was only there 1 night, but it was good enough for my needs

Extremely bright and fresh hotel reception and very friendly service. Room was excellent value for money . Very good first impression on arrival . Clean and fresh. Hotel has bar and serves hot food which is suffice . No other amenities close by so adequate. Friendly staff too . Highly recommended and great value

Does what it says on the tin. Great hotel bar, comfortable bed and blackout curtains which was ideal for a good night’s sleep. Close to Stansted airport, shuttle bus starts from 4am which was ideal for my 7am flight. I even got a breakfast which I didn’t realise was in with the great price for the overnight stay.

The worst place to stay
I stayed in this hotel to get away from the kids and I thought this would be good night out as I know the area pretty well. I was appalled with the first room they gave me it was utter filth so they gave me another room to I found out that wasn’t great either I found a lot marks on the wall, massive stain on the floor and a shambolic view.

Doing well in difficult times
In these uncertain COVID 19 time we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful and seemed to be taking every care to implement the regulation that are required. The room was comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant one evening and although the menu was reduced the food was well prepared with limited resources and enjoyable.

Put off Holiday Inn stays
Used 2 holiday inns now but wouldn’t stay in one again. No tea and coffee, one cup, dirty shower, holes in the walls, dirty sink. All this is really not good
