Noisy Noisy
so noisy. Hotel was lovely but I have never stayed anywhere that was so noisy (from the street) so late; lots of people in the street singing and yelling till 3am every night (we stayed for four nights). Won't stay again.

We would stay again!
The hotel was great! In a great location for Nee Years Eve, there are lots of good restaurants around Montreal and the old port area. The staff at the hotel were great! The only drawback was the wifi was a little unreliable but did the trick for what we needed e.g. Looking up attractions and booking restaurants! We would stay again!

The Perks Of Overbooking!
A few hours into our drive from New York City to Montreal we received a call from the hotel. They said they weren't sure why our booking went through as they were completely booked up. They told us they could put us in an apartment for an "apartment experience" which we immediately thought sounded terrible. Nonetheless, we accepted. Upon arrival, we realized that this apartment was actually an upgrade and that it was a two story (loft) wood floor apartment with a beautiful view of the Notre Dame in Old Montreal, down a cobble stone alley from amazing cafes, bars and restaurants. So to say the least, we were very pleased with the turn of events. So while we didn't stay at the hotel itself, we stayed at a place about two blocks away under contract with the hotel and it was amazing. With that said, the rooftop restaurant at the hotel itself is not a good way to keep money in your pocket and food in your stomach. The prices were crazy and the servings were tiny with a long wait in a stairway. That's the only down side of the trip. But if that's what you'll do for a beautiful roof top view, then that's on you! But I definitely think the hotel is worth staying at. The area of Old Montreal it's situated in is truly amazing!
