A modern hotel in the heart of the old town just one block from the new catherderal. Bathroom rather small but workable and breakfast could be improved. But for the price, excellent value for money

The doorman knows this hotel the best, he is an asset to the hotel and all staff gave excellent service. On arrival we requested a room with a decent view and we were reallocated from the 1st floor to the 7th overlooking the city. Beautiful by day and night. The front of house and the waiting staff in the dijjnt room gave us excellent service. The hotel is clean, practical, well located.

El Dorado is an excellent hotel located in the center of the city with walking distance to many city attractions. Great, clean and comfortable room. Very delicious breakfast. Will stay here next time I come to Cuenca.

Just fantastic. Right exactly in the perfect walking area of the historic downtown. Modern, updated rooms, very clean and roomy. Great service and the breakfast buffet was really great, better than expected with fresh omelets, fruit, breads, etc...

Great property, breakfast is great, there is no ac which is typical in Cuenca but they should have fans for hot sleepers like me. Other than that this hotel is great Mz

Best location in Cuenca, walking distance to the new churcha and good restaurants, can go around in the evening and quiet in the night. Breakfast is also very good with good service. The only problem is water pressure. I stay in 7th floor, when I wanted to take a showed 8:00am and there is no water ( or water came and then stopped when I just put the shampoo...that's embrassing!)

I just met a girl named Maria, and suddenly!!
Maria at the front desk was very helpful. She found us a tour guide on very short notice. She helped with our van rides to Guayaquil and her smile lit up the room. I loved the hotel! This was my third visit to Cuenca and I highly recommend it.
