The owners and staff were pleasant, helpful and easy to talk to. The whole place is cozy and comfortable, a little like a visit to grandmother's house might be. If you have any issues with stairs you I suggest you call ahead and deal with them before booking.

Absolutely loved it
We had an amazing time and absolutely love this place. We'll be back, for sure. The charm, the detail, the wonderful staff, the breakfast, the house and porch....we didn't want to leave. Normally on a trip, I don't make much of a point to spend time at a hotel. However, we wanted to maximize the time we spent on grounds as much as we could. I'm a US history nerd and love travelling back through time and this did it for me. Can't wait to come back.

Old hotel next to a loud busy road. Nice porch with rocking chairs. Rooms were outdated. Bathroom needed a good cleaning. Good breakfast.

Romantic and relaxing
Check in was quick and pleasant. We loved our room and the hotel was cute and quaint. We loved the breakfast in the morning and the little outside seating area in front of our room. My only call out would be that the fan in the bathroom was pretty loud and we struggled with a wet towel smell. It was a pretty humid two days so it might have a lot to do with that and was easily overlooked by the rest of experience being so positive. Thanks for a lovely stay snd we hope to comr back soon.

Overall great value and lovely stay
I had to make a reservation last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we had to leave very early in the morning so didn't get to try the breakfast, but the innkeeper was very sweet and left a to-go snack for us! The building is beautiful and it is immaculately cleaned. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back!
