Good. hotel, great location and friendly staff.
Lovely hotel in a good location close to shops, restaurants and the train station. Staff were very helpful. A very small negative - no personal safe in room.

Clean, Convenient, Cosy
As expected in Tokyo - especially in a very busy City, we had a very tiny room - however it is in a great Ginza location. Double bed was comfortable - the room had great amenities with slippers, PJs, bathroom amenities including toothbrushes each day. The room was always cleaned perfectly. The 24 hour Reception staff were efficient and patient with all my questions and always helpful. Convenient location to Tokyo station, local shops, Mcdonalds, local food markets. You can open a window - just need to ask reception to have it unlocked - that enables air circulation. You have a choice of breakfast at either of the Ginza Monterey Hotels - Buffet at Monterey Ginza, (2 mins walk), or a Table Service Set Breakfast at the La Souer - both have lovely staff and offer a great service. Do not expect a large suite to stay in, we were on excursions and adventures most days/evenings so staying 5 nights was a great idea for us, especially in this location with such lovely and helpful staff. We did not use the Wi-Fi, but heard that it can be intermittent. TV stations limited, but we did not go to Tokyo to watch TV or be in a Resort.

Great Stay
Very good experience in line with what other travelers have said. Room small, but clean. Bathroom good size with good amenities. Housekeeping excellent. Front desk had adequate English. Ginza area very upscale and not allot there for your average tourist except expensive shopping. However, trains and taxis close by to reach other areas. Price was good. Highly recommend this hotel if you know beforehand that you will not getting a suite at a Marriott. Would return.

Not an excellent stay
Rooms are fine, except that ALL the bedside lamps were loose and if you moved them a bit (just because you were turning them off) they topple over and could've crashed into your head. Changed rooms, same problem. Has a portable phone for you to take out of the hotel so you can explore, but it freezes all the time. They have a free wifi service, but it seems to always disconnect.
