Hotel Estrela de Fatima: One of the best hotel stays we've had in Europe - and we travel extensively. Hotel Estrela de Fatima is located about as close as you can get to the Sanctuary of Fatima (across the street) and within walking distance of all local stores and gift shops. If you're driving, the hotel also offers free parking. Extremely clean with comfortable rooms and limitless hot water. Rooms have independent air conditioning that rapidly heats or cools as may be desired. NO humidity problems. Bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable. We reserved a room with breakfast buffet and wound up eating evening meals there as well. The menu is different each day and frankly, they have a very good selection of well prepared and delicious foods. The buffet price is 15 euros per person. Drinks are separate, but reasonable. Finally, I'd like to recognize the hotel staff. They're friendly, outgoing, and very professional. Both check-in and check-out are a breeze and they go out of their way to provide information regarding local attractions. They also provide a very useful map if you enjoy walking and want to see areas of the city not offered by a tour. Our daughter, son-in-law, and four grandchildren will be visiting Fatima next year. We have highly recommended Hotel Estrela de Fatima - simply because it is centrally located and offers everything one would desire, to include adjoining rooms. Book soon. You won't be disappointed!!!
