Torn as a couple of things let it down from being
First impressions when the large wooden gates open are wow!! Like, wow!
The manager showed us round with enthusiasm and pride and then to our room which he advised was an upgrade as they'd just finished two new rooms with us being the second occupants of it.
This wasn't in the main building and was across the street closer to the main square. Our room was fabulous, really big, exceptionally comfortable bed, must be super king so nice and spacious. Shower was pretty good. When he said it was an upgrade this came in the form of the outdoor area. When you go onto the balcony this is in fact a terrace with steps down to a good sized pool that you share with only one other room so practically a private pool. Then beneath the room is a steam room and BBQ. So if you and another couple book both rooms you could have an amazing time.
My problem is that despite having the aircon as low as possible it was roasting, mainly due to the duvet being thick enough for winter, then the noise, we were there three nights and the first night once we closed the patio doors couldn't hear anything, second not ght by about 1am we couldn't hear anything but the Friday night and it was loud till 3-4am.
Not sure if being in the main building would be quieter as all the reviews I'd read prior were complimentary.
Last thing, the breakfast is outstanding, they bring everything Inc champagne to you and it was delicious. So I'm torn, I'd cope with the warmth, not the noise
