The check-in process took over an hour, I thought they were very rude at the front desk. I paid for an all inclusive package which from what I saw had multiple options for food and bars but that was not the case in our experience. Only the buffet was open and 1 bar was open, the staff was rude about the whole thing. The fact that most of the restaurants were close should have been disclosed to me I would have chosen a different hotel. The rooms are clearly outdated and the safe in the room doesn’t work. I would not recommend this property to anyone I know it’s not worth it. The hotel should be downgraded to 2.0 star.

Don't waste your money. Room looked like a motel, no carpet or may, bathroom in a poor condition. Food was blah and kitchen staff very unprofessional.

This is the vacation i have to repeat. A pandemic and yet a hotel that worked overtime to keep you safe and still made sure you enjoyed the experience. Everthing happens as if by magic. And for the housekeeping personnel who made my room so pretty every day, thank you thank you

I just came back today from Grand Bahia principe in Jamaica. I was highly disappointed in the resort. Let me start from the beginning. First I found out 3 weeks before our trip that the hotel we were supposed to stay at was closed and the only reason why I found out was because I decided to go check on my itinerary and saw that the hotel has been closed since end of March. No one from Expedia notified us and once I called Expedia, they switched us over to Grand Bahia side. So being that it’s COVID, I knew thing would be slightly different but did NOT realize that everything at the resort was closed. Out of all the restaurants, only 2 buffet was open. This made me highly upset because I felt like I was eating some cheap food at a lunch cafeteria. This was in my experience the worst place I’ve been to. The rooms were disgusting and smelly. I couldn’t wait to get home to shower in my own house and sleep in my own bed that didn’t have moldy smells. I literally was cringing the whole vacation. Everything shuts down at 11, which meant no more drinks, no more food, no partying and socializing. Only trip I’ve been to that I couldn’t wait to go home. We were so bored!!!! The pool side and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were beautiful as well but they really need to update their rooms and have better cleaning service. The towels, the pillows, the beds, the room and the whole hotel smelled badly like molds. I would probably never go back to this resort.
