Pleasant stay right beside the lake and only a 10min walk into the centre of Stresa. Convenient free onsite parking, nice indoor pool, communal areas and a great breakfast.
Decor is a bit dated but in some way adds to the charm of the place.
Excellent friendly staff.

Stayed from Jul 18 - 21 2024. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and yet professional. The location of the hotel is very nice, it was 10-20min. of walk going to the main town of stresa. Depends if you have a toddler like us:) The way going to the town is a baywalk, it was wonderful and very peaceful. We are very satisfied and would definitely such a recommended place to stay.

The location of the hotel is good, it's right at the lake and in walkable distance from the downtown area in Stresa.
The room was clean, spacious and had a nice balcony. The furniture is outdated and the room lacks some of the basic amenities you'd expect in 3 star hotel.
The staff were nice, however, the receptionist didn't provide information about the hotel facilities. Breakfast was ok.

I thought the property is a prime example of, "you get what you pay for." It was a good price, but the room was outdated and did not have many amenities. For parking, you handed your keys to the front desk like a valet, not advertized but I would have like to know beforehand. The breakfast was subpar. I would recommend solely if on a budget.

Hotel in Stresa with a geacious atmosphere
We had booked for 3 people originally.
2 rooms, 1 single and 1 double.
There was a change in our travel arrangements and we arrived with 4 of us. The rooms unfortunately do not accomodate an extra bed, but they rearranged and made available another single room.
The reception was very accommodating, and very helpful.
The fact that the property had a parking spot for our car was much appreciated.
The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Yet it is a short walk on the lakeside boardwalk to town.
Moments away from the docks for catching a boat. We enjoyed the friendly service, clean rooms and gracious Stresa hospitality.

Hotel with lovely surrounds and handy to the lake.
We had a five night stay at the Lido La Perla having planned to spend some time on Lake Maggiore during our month holiday.
It is a very nice hotel, well located near the lake foreshore with excellent access to the boating transport needed to visit the many sights on the lake.
The hotel staff were very caring, the breakfast was vast and very fresh food, the room was well serviced with clean towels and linen each day and the bathroom was very good although having to step into the bath to shower is a possible hazard for elderly or informed guests.
The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main town of Stresa so dining opportunities were limited but we used the nearby which was very good with a great view of the lake and a good menu. A taxi is required to get to and from the hotel if travelling by train. A couple of negatives are there was no fridge in our room ( forget having cold drinks available in your room) , there was no tea/ coffee making facilities and the tv could only be tuned to non English speaking stations.
The hotel’s gardens are quite spectacular with large flowering hydrangeas and indoor there was a pool and very good couch areas to rest.
Overall very good but a bit overpriced.

Breakfast is terrible! The service stuff tried their best to transform the breakfast experience to be good but the ingredients of the breakfast buffet was one of the worst we ever have seen. The coffee is an undrinkable instant Nescafé product, so we decided to get our coffee outside on the restaurant next door. There are no warm products like bacon or eggs on the buffet. The ham was run out of data and became sour, maybe because nothing on the buffet was chilled. This is not a problem which is made by the stuff, but by the management.
We are working for more than 20 years in hotels, so we know that's a management issue.
The only reason why we give a good rating is the fantastic stuff of the hotel.
The night audit Enrico was very nice and helpful. he served us the best aperol spritz we had on our 4 days in all stresa big compliment to him!!!
