6/10 Good

Staff was nice and unit was clean. The "private beach" was just a very small area with sand and some concrete steps that go into the water in between docks. Pool was clean, but it is attached to the restaurant. Blue Cat Lounge had very good breakfast. Probably a really nice place for people with boats to stay.

A very comfy resort. Not fancy but clean. Pool doesn’t allow coolers since it’s attached to the bar but prices were reasonable. We were in the family apartment and the pictures don’t do it justice it was very spacious. Parking is tight but manageable. Overall a great time. Be sure to bring trash bags, TP, paper towels and dishwasher pods. Very limited on those supplies.

Unit was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, coffee maker, refrigerator, induction stove, pots pans and plates. The view was right on the lake and the pool. Under me is the lounge but noise do not transfer. I still get quiet sleep.

Nice and quiet. Super helpful staff. It's a pet-friendly property where fishing is allowed from their docks. Bring your own pole/tackle -- but you can buy worms on site. My teenage son was thrilled to spend time with his dog there.
Verified review

6/10 Good

The walls of the hotel were paper thin. Could hear other person’s TV, as well as them talking. Little cabins may have been better for this reason. The room itself was fairly clean. There were some areas with bugs or things on walls that could have been cleaned off. The pullout had dirty sheets on it. The exterior could use some maintenance (deck, sidewalks, etc). Staff was very helpful and quick to respond when couldn’t get in our room.

6/10 Good

Place is pretty meh. Being on the lake is nice and the pool and live music is also a big plus. The upgraded rooms are quite nice but the non-upgraded rooms are pretty rough. The beds are like cots, the sheets are stiff and scratchy, and they do not provide anything in the room that you would have in a typical airbnb or hotel, such as a hairdryer or coffee. The rooms were spacious so I appreciated that as well as the balcony with lake view. However, for the price point, it's not really a good deal, but I guess there's a markup for Lake of the Ozarks (also seems weird). The upgraded rooms also cost more and that DEFINITELY wasn't worth it. I will say that the staff are very nice and helpful.
