Very good 8.0
Solo traveller for business and leisure. Pros: Great WIFI connectivity. Nice balcony in room and rooms and bathroom are clean and serviced daily. Friendly staff who also speak English. Excellent location, close to gare du nord and gare de l'est stations. Local area has a lot of restaurants for Halal food requirements. Cons: breakfast is very simple. Noisy in the room from busy outdoor traffic but not really an issue. Close doors/windows if you need silence.

Very good 8.0
This property is a few blocks from Gare de l'Est and a 6 minute walk to Gare du Nord. The room was small but adequate. There is only 1 TV channel in English which is CNN. The pillow were flat and hard. You can open the windows for fresh air. My room faced the main street which was quite busy and loud. If you are sensitive to noise, then you may not get at good night sleep. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The closest metro station is around the corner called Gare de l'Est. This location is safe for a single female traveler. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the hotel. This is a budget hotel and worth the low cost to stay here.

Very good 8.0
Average hotel in a nice location.
Nothing overly special, but a good choice. Very well connected, since the Gare du Nord is close by. Staff was very friendly. Room was small, but comfortable enough. You could sometimes hear sirens and cars driving by on the streets, but it didn't bother me too much. The room wasn't in a great condition though, walls, floors and doors seemed quite worn out. But overall that's a small complaint.

Exceptional 10.0
Very convenient hotel for Gare du Nord
I stayed with my daughter for Mother's Day and her birthday. We wanted somewhere close to the station but accessible for the rest of Paris. We also wanted somewhere with restaurants and cafes close by. This hotel was perfect; a few minutes walk from the station and with easy access to the Open City bus tours and lots of restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is very nice with fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Our room on the 6th floor was quite small, but very cosy and perfectly clean. Free wifi was great and worked well. There are facilities to leave your luggage on check out day which means you can get a late train back to the UK without having to worry about carrying bags around the city on your last day. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit to Paris.

Poor 2.0
Not good!!!
The rooms in this hotel are horrible! It’s dark, dingy, and downright gross. The room had an awful smell to it and everything was old and gross. The neighborhood was very scary! Females- do not go out alone after dark! The room was BEYOND small and cramped. 2 people and luggage do not fit in these rooms! The beds weren’t very comfortable and the hall was so dark you couldn’t tell if someone was lurking in the area! The only good thing was the front desk was accommodating when I got a call about a family emergency and had to leave early! It was a blessing! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the Paris charm! I am considering contacting and suggesting they remove this place from their options and petitioning for my money being refunded!
