We wnjoy our stay
All the staff, from the reception to the restaurant for breakfast, were exceptionally kind and friendly. The parking is infront of the hotel has a discount for the hotel guests. Very good location, walking distance from historical downtown.

I had trouble breathing the stagnant air in this hotel. It is an old hotel, on the low end of amenities. Small elevator. Small rooms. At least there was a window that I could open for fresh air. I paid for breakfast in advance but I got claustrophobic in the restaurant and left to get breakfast in a coffee shop next door. I was grateful for a bed, toilet, shower and sink. The staff was kind. I honestly don’t know how they can breathe at work, but they are kind and good people.

Great location, very nice staff, nice view of the city, but overall bad rooms, would not recommend staying. Warning, the pictures make the rooms look a lot bigger and better kept than they actually are. There was a very unpleasant smell in the lobby and on the floor of our apartment. The room as I said was extremely small, and the bathroom as well. The walls were unkept and had stains everywhere. One of the decorative pillows had a cigarette hole burned into it.

Although this hotel location is a great advantage to visit the heart of the attractions in Bordeaux, beware of the disadvantages involved in a very small place, delays to check in due to rooms not being ready and general lack of care by staff when it comes to provide service beyond the strictly necessary. If you're lucky, the staff will be helpful, if not you are very much on your own. The lift is the smallest lift I've ever seen and you should not consider this place if you are expecting to do anything else in the hotel besides going to bed or take a quick shower.

Location in Bordeaux is excellent. Easy walking distance to the city center. Hotel is not fancy - picture on Orbitz makes it look nicer than it is. Water temperature alternated between cold and scaling during shower within a few seconds. Funny odor in the lobby entrance and in stairwell.
