    Great location, that's about it.
When I arrived at the hotel, around 10pm I was greeted at the front desk by two women who were the only "nice" staff that I ran into the entire trip. They informed me that one of my rooms had been cancelled due to a mix up with expedia. After 10 minutes they informed me that they would honor the room, but made it feel as if the mix up had been my fault for some reason. The hotel states on their website that breakfast is included with your room, yet for some reason both rooms did not include breakfast. The room itself seemed bare, and the bed was too hard for my liking. Most boutique hotels that I stay at usually have some sort of turn down service, which this hotel didn't seem to have. I had gone down to the front desk several time to ask directions to places around the city, and each time seemed like the staff were burdened with my inquiries. I can't say for sure if they were being rude or if this is just a cultural difference. I would have expected more from hotel staff memeber though. The breakfast buffet which cost about $30 usd, was horrible. Minimal selection, with only some eggs, and breakfast sausage as the main hot foods. I ended up having cereal each day, which for $30 didn't make me happy. While we could have tried to find a breakfast spot near the hotel most were closed at 7am. On our fourth day we were looking to relax, and saw that the hotel had spa services. The spa was a joke, a small room tucked in the corner of the lobby. Just all around bad experience.

    Bad experience
This is a bad experience. Last time around 6:30pm to check in, staff use 20 mins to process and no one help me to put the luggage to my room. In the room, the window can not close and that night temperature is 0 degree. The TV already blocked, can not watch at the next day morning after 8:30am so we cant check the weather and the news. We just feel that they not much like asia people to come. Can not feel this is a five star hotel and not recomment people to here.

    Great stay
Great location. Under 10 minutes to the Red Square And Kremlin. Good breakfast and lively neighbourhood. At the end of the block is a square where you have live music - talented street performers and bands - just about nightly and weekend. Off the square is the new wing of the GUM store and the Bolshoi. Across the street and a few minutes more is the entrance to the Red Square. Good size room. Clean and comfortable. Nightly piano music at the lobby bar. Old but not necessary tired. Will stay there again if in Moscow.

    Exceptional 10.0
Nice hotel within a short walk of Red Square
Located close to everything we wanted to see Peter 1 was a very comfortable location to stay. Breakfast could be had until 11am, very civilised. And what a breakfast, with variety fit for a King. The standard room was excellent with a great bed fine shower room and sufficient furniture to make you feel at home. Most impressive was the most courteous, helpful and informative staff who made us feel most welcome throughout our stay.

    Very Nice Hotel
Nice Hotel, tastefully decorated , situated in one of the best and upmarket location with close proximity to The Kremlin and Tverskaya shopping district. Rooms and beds comfortable . The Breakfast Buffet is rich in variety and fresh . I can highly recommend The restaurant Romanov which is just off the lobby . The staff are courteous . The best hotel I stayed in Moscow and reasonably priced.
