What a beautiful and serene hotel! Perfect for a three-night stopover on the way to Europe. Location in Chinatown was excellent, and everything was so gorgeous. Clean and modern. Lovely staff. We had a power cut during our stay which meant no breakfast first morning. We were only there two nights. Breakfast the next day was so good, we were even more disappointed that we’d missed it the day before. The only negatives I would say is that no reparations were made for missing breakfast and the air conditioning was not very cold. Apart from that, it was great.

I loved my stay at the Else and highly recommend it to anyone visiting KL. It was the perfect boutique hotel experience. The service was impeccable and the hotel was beautifully curated - it had a lovely library, unique art work and luxe bathroom toiletries. I found the location very convenient as well. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend you book a room that overlooks the pool. My room faced the street and it was quite loud due to night time activities.
