The hotel was excellent in every way. Good location close to the entry of the old city, just 5 minutes walk. The hotel has no parking but you can find the odd space locally and it all feels safe. Staff in the hotel could not be more helpful and the breakfast was good.

Room was clean and lovely staff. We didn’t partake in the breakfast. Due to its location in Dinan, was sometimes challenging to find nearby parking.

When planning to visit Dinan, we considered the usual hotel chains but decided to give Demeures & Châteaux - Hôtel de la porte Saint-Malo a try, and we're so glad we did. The hotel/room/bathroom are immaculately clean and the service is first class in every respect. The location is perfect for exploring the historic town (5 mins walk) or take a stroll by the river (12 mins down steps with breathtaking views). This hotel comes highly recommended.

What an amazing find! An absolutely beautiful family run hotel in such a great location to visit the amazing Dinan, with its medieval ramparts and numerous medieval buildings. Kevin & Roxana who own and run this hotel are the perfect hosts. We stayed in the suite for 5 nights and had our own courtyard and kitchen area, which was excellent as we had our dog staying with us. The service offered by Kevin & Roxana and all their staff was exceptional and I could not rate them any higher. We had travelled previously from Vannes which we thought was amazing arriving in Dinan and can only say Wow, Wow and Wow, what a city and a great location to visit the surrounding areas. The city is stunning and has everything you want for a fantastic holiday. If you have never been to Dinan before, don’t hesitate, just go and stay in this wonderful hotel and I hope your holiday is as enjoyable as ours!

A friendly, family run hotel in a quiet but great location for walking into the historic centre of Dinan. Comfortable room up two flights of stairs (no lift) but host offered to carry our cases up. We enjoyed two quiet and comfortable nights sleep Good wholesome buffet breakfast. No restaurant but many within easy walking distance. No parking but many options to park outside or nearby - all free of charge. Would we stay again? Absolutely
