Nell Hotel is consistently clean and feels that way even tough the atmosphere and decor are industrial. Staff throughout the building are kind, upbeat and frequently offer to help. Food is tasty and interesting in all three restaurants. I enjoy eating alone or entertaining friends.

This room was a God send. I was able to check in early at 9:30am after a cancelled flight. I really enjoyed the location. I was able to walk nearby to enjoy several local locations. It was close to good fun and entertainment. I really loved this spot. I'll come back anytime I come back to the area.

Enjoyed my stay and the nearby restaurants. The metro is about a 10 minute walk away. There is also a Trader Joe’s nearby to purchase water and snacks. I was there on a very hot weekend and the AC worked well. For hot water you need to let the water run 5 minutes. The rooms were clean and quiet.

I hadn’t really researched the place before I booked so I was surprised initially when I arrived on a Sunday. The surprise was down to the room’s style … not the usual hotel decor and furniture. The place grew on me and by the time the roof top area/bar opened on Monday I was enjoying it. All night happy hour on Monday is a great surprise! It’s a bit of a walk to the metro but a bonus is having Cafe Pastis close by. You need to know that the ice machine is on the ground floor. The only disappointment was the breakfast slow service and often lack of staff. I waited 10 minutes on one occasion and left because there was no staff presence.
