Outstanding, clean, feel-good hotel
The staff are diligent and caring, the hotel decor stylish, comfortable and luxuriant. It seems every view has a view of the river, and so sunsets are just incredible, but even sunrise presents a new set of colours every day. The spa provided a great service, too.

We have a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it. The hotel is situated not far from the city Center, I use Uber to get around and you play about 4 euros to get to the city. We loved the story of the building as it used to be a perfumery, the identity of the hotel is directly link to this. The staffs are one of the friendliest bunch I’ve seen in my travelling life and they so happy to assist in whatever you may need, the staffs speaks different languages as well so communication won’t be a problem. We were given a fabulous room on the 8th floor with a gorgeous view on the Douro river. The breakfast food and area is one of the best, they have freshly squeezed oranges, passion fruit and other fruits. The options are vast and dining area is clean and adorable. I would want to stay again in this hotel if I ever come back to Porto. I heard the Pestana group of hotels are best in the country.

this property was noisy and room was filthy, literally urine on the floor of the bathroom. we tried to get the staff to change rooms but they said they were booked. they had housekeeping come and clean the room but refused to change the sheets because they claimed they were already cleaned. We left after 2-1/2 days into a 5 day stay. Hotel would not refund us remaining nights and Expedia didn't really help us either. We felt so ripped off by this property. DO NOT STAY HERE. ITS DIRTY, THE STAFF ARE AWFUL AND A HUGE RIP OFF.
