6/10 Good

The property could be so much better. All the basic things are there but it needs sprucing up. The pool was full of leaves yet the water clean. The surrounds needed to be maintained as there was little shade and no umbrellas. The lock on the poolside doors would only lock on the inside. No breakfast or lunch was available either in the room or restaurant. Garden and walkways need to be jazzed up if it is to be called Grande.

10/10 Exceptional

The King rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel has lots of gardens and open space. The pool is lap size and in a very peaceful garden setting, but needs a repaint. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good especially the fish and the brisket. Breakfast is limited to a food/coffee caravan, but a great cafe is a three minute walk away at the nearby caravan park. Will definitely stay again.

This resort is in a lovely setting opposite the lake & park. It’s handy having the early coffee van & in house restaurant & bar, laundry room and pool for guests. Rooms are standard and have everything required with comfortable beds.Staff are friendly and the shuttle bus is great for trips to & from the Kununurra airport.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay in Kununarra. The restaurant and sports bar are very noisy. The food was quite good. Renting a car is essential if you dont want to be stuck here with nonexistant taxi service and a hot walk into town. The pool is refreshing and nice. No views or sunset vistas from the hotel.

Great hotel for Kununnurra, good location just off the Victoria highway, room we had was big and quite luxurious, easy parking next to the room, pool and restaurant / bar, lovely comfy beds
Verified review

6/10 Good

Average accommodation in a good part of town and with a decent restaurant and bar. Understaffed which meant waiting for everything from a drink to a shuttle. Room was in average condition and I had to call reception to ask for curtain hooks to close the curtain. Good sized pool but not very appealing surrounds. Unfortunately this accommodation needs a lot of TLC for it to regain its 'Grande' status but if you want somewhere centrally located and easy access to food it's ok. Plenty of parking. Be mindful of securing your room and belongings here.
