The woman at the front desk was not helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations. They don’t have a map of the area or a list.The on-site pizza cafe is not good, tasteless pizza. The room is dated and the beach is concrete blocks.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and quite modern however even though there was a thermostat in the room it never got cooler and the room ended up being so hot and stuffy we had to sleep with the door open. The restuarant was lovely and the food and staff were lovely.

Lovely stay but don't eat there.
This is a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. Lovely pool and view from our balcony. Lounge area and swimming available in front of the hotel. Front desk was so helpful with our next travel destination. Its an older building but charming and comfortable. Only complaint was the food at the restaurant was not great for buffet dinner or breakfast. However, service was excellent

A hotel is supposed to provide comfort and safety to their paying guests. I checked in May 9, 2018 when it was 28 degrees outside. After check in, I noticed the room was very hot (25/24 degrees) After turning on the AC and having a housekeeper try to help AC. I called down to the front desk and was told the hotel decided not to turn on the AC. I said - my room is hot and I can’t stay in this hot room. The female front desk representative basically said - I have explained that the AC is off and the other guest at the hotel has not complained. (large hotel - no one staying here??) She suggested I leave the balcony door open. As two women (my mom and I) staying in a foreign country - our hotel told us to leave the balcony door open. Words fail me... #1 incredibly unsafe as the neighbor beside me could easily use the railing and come over. #2 Mosquitoes/ bugs etc have clear access all night. #3 I have paid the hotel which advertised AC. I asked if the hotel would refund my money and I would go and find another hotel - the hotel representative said no she would not. The lack of customer service astounds me. I paid for a hotel room with AC that my mom and I would be safe in. The hotel failed to live up to the basic requirements and I am being punished for prepaying on a website? This is not acceptable and I would like a Manager to email me as I expect a refund. I stayed in the hotel - had the worst night as the room was hot and we were both on edge with every noise.
