We booked and paid up-front for an executive suite but on arrival (see other reviews about difficulty with check-in) we were given a windowless room with no wifi (we had to go outside onto the driveway to get wifi reception). The towels were grey and the pillows incredibly solid. There is also a grumpy German Shepherd on the property which scared my kids. Not everyone likes dogs!
Only after I approached Maroulina (the manager) did she admit that she didn't have any executive suites available. We spent our first two nights in the windowless room during a heatwave with two small children. This room does not appear in any of the photos on the listing.
The last night we were able to move to the executive suite (a window in each room and a balcony) but were kept awake by the roosters outside who started at 3am!
Wotif are pursuing a refund for the first two nights spent in the basement room but have not been able to get a response from the property manager in 3 weeks.
Overbooking/overcharging customers is unethical and is surely illegal in Greece. This property should not be allowed to do buisness via Wotif until they can demonstrate that they have improved their management practices.
Being treated in this way really coloured our experience of Mykonos and we won't be returning in a hurry.
Had we been given the room we paid for, we would have had a lovely stay as we had reasonable expectations of the location and quality of the accommodation.
Do not stay here.
