Only a small portion of the window can be open - this makes the stay in the room not conformable, especially in a warm day; a small microwave stove in the room would be useful for guests

Andy location
10 minutes walk to city centre, airport bus and mini-market very close. There was an issue with noise at night, the constant sound of running water as if the next room was running a shower 24 hours per day, I seemed to get used to it and slept better the final few nights. I would stay again.

Nice and Handy
Nothing flash but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. This is my fourth stay there at this time of the year.

Old and tired, second-hand smoke
The hotel is old but cheap, so it's understandable that it hasn't been renovated. We stayed 5 nights. On our 3rd day we noticed the entire level, including our room, smelled like cigarette smoke. I reported it and NOTHING was done. We had to spend more than 12 hours in that ashtray until I went down to reception to complain again. This time the acting manager came up to investigate, and a few hours later, the corridor smelled like air freshener. So, action was taken, but a good 12-15 hours after my initial complaint. No compensation was offered. A partial refund or a free breakfast would've been appropriate, following the hotel failing to protect guests from second-hand smoking

Fair 4.0
I stayed one night in a single room. Check in was seamless. The foyer and lift were beautiful. Then I went down the hallways which were a bit drab and then into the room. It was very small, smaller than the impression I got from the photos. There was a kettle, some coffee making facilities, a sink a fan and a wall heater. There was only 1 power point. There was a window. Everything was very average and generally didn't feel very good. I hadn't realised it was only a 2 star and not a 3 star which was my mistake. So I was disappointed but realised that was my bad. I would have rated it better, but the thing that ruined it for me was that I found it hard to breathe. I don't know if it was general dustiness/the curtains or poor ventilation, but it was awful and I felt horrible. I started having a runny nose shortly after i arrived and ended up having to go to the chemist to buy some anti-histamine for hayfever. I don't ever get hay fever. Something here was not good for me. It was really affordable but... I would probably not stay again... One thing that was really great was that the hotel stored my luggage for a few hours after I checked out, and they let me check out a bit later (by arrangement). The service here is good and they were (pretty) responsive to my emails and requests/enquiries. It's very close to the city... good for lots of connections for transport etc... I did not get a good night's sleep here.
