We have stayed at The Helms Inn several times over the last ten years. Excellent location to favourite sights and eateries. However, after spending over $300 dollars a night I still had to pay $10 a day to park in the small lot.

We enjoyed our stay at Helms Inn. It is very conveniently located at the edge of Beacon Hill Park on Douglas Ave. We walked everywhere. The property has an older style to it. It is charming. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room was completely updated and very spacious. The staff was very friendly and the front desk is open 24 hours. I would stay here again.

This was our 4th stay here. We only make/eat breakfast and kitchen has toaster and coffee maker. If u bring your own coffee, be sure to bring filters! Kitchen has basic pots, plates and cutlery only. Can't beat the location with easy walking to major sites, shopping and restaurants.
