Good
Convenient but has faults
The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro, shops, cafes, etc. but the one thing I found disappointing were the beds. They were old, lumpy, hard ones, very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Secondly the elevators were a problem, if you were just going to the 4th floor, they were fine, but if you had a room on the 5th floor, you could wait for a long time as only one of the two elevators went to the 5th floor, and as the one and only call button was for both elevators, the one only going to the 4th floor would always come first. The staff or the hotel, instead of correcting the problem would just tell you to go to the 4th floor get off and transfer to the one going to the 5th floor. Seems needless as a simple solution would be to put in two call buttons, one for each elevator. The hotel is also not wheelchair friendly.

Tiny room but served the purpose
We arrived before our room was ready but our luggage was secured for us. When we returned, three of us squeezed into our tiny room but, once we put put our things away, we managed OK. After all, we weren't there to hang out. It was just a base for exploring the city. The beds were comfortable, Up on the 6th floor, it was quiet. The bathroom was stylish although the shower floor was slippery. The breakfast, which was included with our room, was good. I do have to say that the elevator is extremely small, making it necessary for us to take our luggage up to the room in shifts. Nearby restaurants and stores as well as the Metro station, made everything convenient. And the price was right in an expensive city.

Hotel near to opera house
We arrived 30 minutes before the performance to find all the entrances to the hotel closed .. We needed to leave our case in our room and waited some time for anyone to appear .. not a suggestion of an apology. Our room was off the hall & the window on the street.. it was noisy all night outside and until midnight in the hotel and early this morning so we have not had a night’s sleep. I asked to move but was told the other side of the building was on the main road and worse. The reception checking out was nice & apologised & offered us free breakfast

Poor
Book Elsewhere
Room was extremely small, dirty and dingy, nothing like photos. Always a problem with supplies in room. not enough towels (twice), coffee supplies not replenished. Offered adapter plugs, never had any. The clincher though was the substantial mould on the ceiling which we noticed on the last night of a four day stay. We took photos and showed the front desk, hopefully they will act upon it. Easily the worst hotel, we stayed in on our 4 week trip to Europe; 8 hotels. They are long overdue for a major renovation. The only good thing about it was the location, close to metro. Easy to get around.

Not worth the price
The photos were misleading as we were expecting a junior suite with two comfortable double beds, however we had a 'double bed' made of two singles and a double sofa bed that was uncomfortable. The room was not big enough to be classed as a suite. The lift was unsettling as it was incredibly small and compact. On checking out there was confusion about whether or not the payment had been made, this is something that must be discussed with expedia as well, however the lady dealing with the problem was rude and insistent, implying that we were 'wrong'.
