The hotel has a great ambience and outdoor courtyard which is rare in New York. However my check in encounter was not pleasant. There was an issue with my credit card that I use. To book as it was getting declined at check in. As it was a work trip, I offered to pay for the first night with my personal credit card as I sort out the issue of my corporate card but the hotel would hear none of it. Due to time difference it was already night in the UK and I could only call the bank and office to resolve the issue the following day. I had to therefore put down my personal card for the entire 7 days which was such an inconvenience as had to max out my card and be left with no funds for the rest of the stay. Not staying there again

Would Do It Again
Easy to get to by the A subway. Very new and cozy room for two. Well thought out. Washington Heights is only 30 minutes to Times Square and just a few blocks from the hotel. Price was great compared to Times Square costs!

Best deal in the city!
Beautiful and clean hotel with a friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and the ambiance was so lively. My new favorite place to stay when visiting NYC.
