For a pub stay it was great. Nothing flash but it’s a country pub and after travelling all day it was a comfy bed with modernised facilities, and a clean room with friendly staff.

Better after renovation?
They are renovating so should excuse them but no discount or compensation offered. Only one male toilet for all those rooms and two uncleaned showers? No sink in my room. This is not usual for the price charged. Pub part is very nice, nice staff and good food. The share lounge was uncomfortable with a hard bench and an old couch. No milk for coffee, no bread or jam, most pubs offer free continental breakfast in the common room. Hopefully this was just a bad moment for them, please consider your temporary guests more while renovating. Lots of loud noises from early hours. I have received much more for less money elsewhere in fully renovated pubs.
