We spent one night here. The young man that met us when we pulled up (for valet parking) was very friendly and explained what we needed to do for valet parking. The man at the front desk, not so much. He asked if we were checking in and then mumbled that it would be a few minutes because he needed to log-in. This took several minutes. He looked up and asked for the last name. Then asked for ID and credit card. He handed my ID back and then said there would be a $40 charge that would be returned if not used. He handed us our cards and pointed toward the hallway to our room. Never a hello, welcome, or thank you. The rooms are very nice. They are very clean. The bed was comfortable. I didn't care for the pillows - they become flat after a few minutes of use. The bathrooms are nice and spacious and very clean, and they provide plenty of very nice towels. The air conditioner in the room is loud. The breakfast is blah. Scrambled eggs, undercooked sausage patties, a couple choices of fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, and waffles (one waffle cooker was not working) - just a bit more than the basic continental breakfast, but nothing to rave about. When we checked out the clerk asked for the room number, and then said, "Okay, thank you." I'm wondering if the desk clerks are trained to be as brief and unfriendly as possible. It took the valet over 20 minutes to get our vehicle. We were beginning to wonder if he got lost or mugged it took so long.
