Absolutely appalling service from this hotel. I would never book with them again, and would strongly encourage everyone to avoid them at all costs.
The reason? Unfortunately my flight to Paris was cancelled, at the last minute, due to factors completely beyond my control (problems in the UK in late August which were heavily featured in the news).
I immediately tried to contact the hotel to explain the circumstances, to make sure they could offer the room to other travellers who might be stranded, and to ask if i could change my reservation to a later date.
Over the last four days I have emailed, instant messaged and telephoned (even though I am deaf and find it very hard to use the phone) the hotel repeatedly. Four days later, I have still not received a single reply to my messages.
I also contacted the booking agent who similarly had trouble contacting the hotel. In the end they did make contact, and told the agent that they could not cancel or change the reservation, and that I would lose my money.
I have still not received any communication directly from the hotel, and it appears that they have zero compassion for travellers who have had their trips disrupted. I am astonished by the rudeness they have displayed.
Every other company I had made bookings with for this trip (restaurants, travel companies, leisure activities) have refunded me or allowed me to change bookings. They have been excellent and supportive - it seems that easyHotel could learn a lot from them.
