The hotel is in a perfect location on the quayside in the harbour, a few minutes' walk from the train/bus station and just across the road from the city wall and centre. Kalmar Castle is about 20 minutes' walk away. On arrival we were given a very friendly and warm welcome at the reception. Breakfast, afternoon fika (Swedish coffee + cake) and buffet dinner are all included for all guests. Our room was charmingly located in the eaves of the hotel, with wooden ceiling beams and lots of character. Overall this hotel must be one of the most convenient and recommendable in Kalmar.

Lovely hotel on the water. Big plus that dinner and breakfast was included. Room had lovely decor and hearing seagulls while drifting off to sleep was lovely. Only downside was that there was active construction at a building across the water that started at 7:30 am. I was up early tho and it was less of an issue than if I had wanted to sleep in.

Vilket mysigt hotell. Perfekt läge precis vid småbåtshamnen och nära till centrum! Vi hade bara bokat en natt men bokade en till då vi blev så förtjusta. Trevlig innergård med gott om plats och sittmöjligheter på balkongen utmed vattnet. Att det ingick en välsmakande middag var ett plus. Hit återkommer vi gärna!
