4/10 Fair

It's a 2 star hotel. No reception to speak of, stainless steel counter in fron of a small back office room. Our 3 person room was tiny with no room to move around. A closet in the bathroom- a weird location. The above was not what botheted us the most. We checked in at 4:30pm, at wich point the frond desk lady said she was leaving for the day. We turned on the AC which was hardly blowing any air. It was about 94F putside with high humidity! After a long drive, we wanted to take a shower to find out there was no hot water. Reporyed issues next morning. The AC was fixed. The hot water was never fixed despite several attempts. Good thing it was very hot outside and 3 days with cold shower was somewhat bearable. Not having hot water in the room is not okay even for a 2 star hotel. On a bright side, the breakfast was nice. The property is 5 min from the beach and main streets with restaurants.

Cute bungalows with lots of charm. Grounds were like a garden oasis. Close to lots of stuff but pretty quiet. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, food truck court and downtown Tamarindo. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.

This property is very quaint. Extremely clean and friendly staff will make your stay with them worth it. You don’t need expensive in Costa Rica because you spend little time in room. Property sits on a green area so monkeys will always be near by and what and experience that is

Hotel was ok, nothing too fancy. AC worked good but there were some leaks at the windows, bugs on the floor during the night. Housekeeping was on cue and the pool was nice. By far the best part of the stay was the breakfast, nice ladies working the restaurant and also very attentive. Would stay there again
