A little more care in the room.
My room was ok very creaky floor as I walked about, good job I was upstairs, glass dirty in the room, could not find the tea coffee hidden by the kettle, lucky I always bring my own. apart from that not to bad for an old house.

A very pleasant stay
We stayed for a night. The hotel was in a lovely location but convenient for Bristol. The hotel was comfortable with relaxing communal areas. The staff we met in reception and the young barmen were all friendly and helpful.

OK for a one night stop over
Before I saw a flyer for a Fawlty Towers dining experience in November, I had already concluded it was heading in that direction. The food was good and the service individual, but the building was dilapidated and does not make the most of its setting. The annex room that we were in was uncomfortably hot despite using a fan.
