First let me start by saying that the staff of the hotel were really great and very helpful. The drinks at the bar were great. As a vegetarian there was not much choice to be had in the restaurant. I believe the hotel should advertise that the more expensive rooms on the 5 th floor with a balcony have skylight ceilings which are very low. My husband hit his head twice on the ceiling even though we were being very careful. It is not fair to pay more money and then endanger ourselves as an older couple. Another point was the placement of the toilet roll holder in the toilet. One could not sit comfortably as it dug into one’s thigh and it was very uncomfortable. For an expensive hotel these are important issues and I believe should be addressed.

The property is located in an area of narrow streets and was difficult to find. Street parking was limited and metered. The hotel itself was nice, although the decor was a bit odd-lots of old dishware and dolls. The staff were professional and very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. They provided a free welcome drink, water, and a plate of pastries upon check-in. The room was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
