Our stay at the Ravello Art Hotel was average. While the views from the hotel were beautiful, the overall experience was just okay. It's important to note that the hotel is in Ravello, not directly on the Amalfi Coast, which adds a layer of complexity to travel plans.
We stayed in a luxury apartment that, although accommodating, was quite removed from the main hotel amenities. Walking back to the hotel required navigating a high-traffic area, which didn't feel very safe. Additionally, getting to the Amalfi Coast was not easy, and cab fares were quite expensive.
The hotel's restaurant was mediocre; the food was nothing special and seemed overpriced for the quality offered. Our room had ants, and housekeeping was only available upon request, which meant our room wasn't cleaned regularly.
Overall, the Ravello Art Hotel was okay but lacked the extraordinary qualities that would make it a standout option. The views were a highlight, but other aspects of the stay left much to be desired.
