I liked the bed (new one needed) and television. I found hair in the fridge. I was told the fridge was not in service. The front desk folks were extremely unprofessional. One of them was watching something on her phone and wouldn't even place her phone down to check me out and print my receipt. The room smelled like smoke. I was told people do not smoke in the room but i found cigarette burn marks on the sink. The A.C. was not working properly and floor and wall were dirty. I checked into one room and was asked to be moved to another room but the second room was not clean. They need to remodel the whole building, replace the wooden walls with something else, and i stall air vent in the bathroom. I paid too much for this nonsense and will not be checking back in. I do not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing stay! Never Again!!
The surrounding area seems nice but we did not feel safe with the clientele that were staying at the hotel - we honestly felt like it was transition housing for single men coming from jail. The language we heard was less than savory and definitely not family friendly. The front desk clerk seemed to go right along with it and was laughing along with her friend who had shown up to charge her phone. When they ran out of milk for breakfast at 7:30am the guest who brought up the matter was told without apology they were going to have to wait for maintenance to show up. She later warmed. The breakfast floor was completely sticky. Our room was ok but not what I would expect from a Wyndham related property. The shower was disgusting - torn shower curtain and finish was completely worn off tub floor and it looked awful. No wonder the lightbulb closest to the shower was not functioning - very dim light in bathroom. The toilet didn't look much better and in general this place is run down and we did not feel safe letting any of our children out of the room alone. Very disappointing stay and especially considering the connection to a Days Inn and a Wyndham property.

We stayed for 3 nights and the AC temp control was on high and no change to the room temp with no way to adjust the 3rd night stay we didnt have any hot water nor the next am along with very poor drainage in the sink. There isnt any phone in the room to call anyone and there also isnt any form of elevator for a 2 story hotel only stairs. Staff was very friendly and offered 10% disc on food when going to the attached restaurant which was good. Unfortunately didnt make up for other issues.

Great value if you aren't picky
I was looking for an inexpensive hotel room to stay in just one night during Summerfest this year and I chose this one despite the negative reviews. My boyfriend and I are not picky people and usually will just look for motels to stay in because in all reality all we do is sleep and shower in the hotel. We aren't ones for spending tons of money on a room that we really don't spend any time in. Surprisingly the bed in this room was very comfortable and there were a lot of pillows. I was also surprised to find that none of the rooms have outside windows. It almost looks like they built exterior walls around an older hotel. So the previous exterior walls, with the windows to the rooms, are now on the inside. The room was actually kind of neat with cedar planked ceiling and old cedar beams. Really, the only negative things I can say are: the room did smell like it had been smoked in but not recently, it was old smelling smoke. The bathroom is super old and could definitely use a renovation. It is apparent that they have tried to update it somewhat and have replaced the caulk which was bright white. It did have mildew in some areas of the caulk. And the grout on the floor has obviously not been scrubbed in some time. If you bring shower shoes, you will be just fine.

A Quick Overnight Stay without Paying Big Bucks.
There are some good Days Inns and some bad ones. This is neither. If you're looking for an overnight stay that's clean, in a fairly safe neighborhood, and your traveling on the cheap then this is the place to be. It is close to Milwaukee's attractions and shops. At one time this Days Inn was a bit of a slum hotel, however, now they are making many improvements. The furniture was very nice, it has a refrigerator and modern good size TV. The best is shuttle service to and from the Brewer's Stadium. What makes it average is breakfast is grabbing a coffee, muffin, and apple on your way out the door, however, you get 10% off the restaurant next door. The beds are large and OK if you like them hard. All in all, I got what I paid for therefore I recommend staying overnight after the Brewer game like I did. I had a nice quiet rest after a long day.
