Exceptional 10.0
Great hotel with views of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and park. Rooms are small which is standard for Japan but we managed to fit our compact cot and the lounge area was a great space for our 10 month old to crawl around. Beautiful bakery and coffee downstairs is a bonus and love the initiative of coupons to use at either for opting for the eco-friendly cleaning. Stay is close to metro lines but a little further to the JR lines however still a reasonable walking distance.

Disappointing stay
We booked a deluxe triple room with city views. When we arrived to find 3 small single beds (for a family of four) with a view to next doors apartments we were very disappointed. I went and spoke to the concierge to be informed that there was no triple rooms with views. Perhaps they shouldn't advertise city views if they aren't avaliable. Room was clean and the park across the road was lovely. Bit of a walk to the closest station but not too far.

Aussie Appreciation :)
We stayed here for 3 weeks while we explored Tokyo and loved it. The location was great and the vibe of the hotel was very us - we loved the music in the lobby (was our favourite music, made it feel like home). The room was small but did the job - would have been good to have a bit more space for our luggage and to hang more things up but only because we were there so long. Having the laundry facility was great, made things very easy for us on our long trip. Would absolutely stay again and will recommend to our family and friends.

Disappointed
Rooms are way to small ! If your planning on getting a room as a couple only use 1 suitcase there is no room in rooms for 2. Didn’t like how when checking in and out you had to do it through a kiosk, there was no welcome just a hand point to kiosk. When departing once again through kiosk, no “how was your stay ?” “Did you enjoy japan ?” So I want be staying here again.

Comfortable & modern on the quiet side of Shinjuku
Great service, clean and spacious rooms (for Tokyo), and everything was very modern. The lobby and front restaurant are always incredibly busy and full of people - at times there are too many people and it gets a bit much. Location-wise, the hotel is not that central, (the neighbourhood itself is incredibly quiet at night as there is almost nothing around once you're on the west side of Shinjuku station, which is a fair 15-min walk away) but it may be worth it for the comfortable and modern rooms the hotel offers. We took day trips away, and just returned back late at night so the neighbourhood didn't affect us except for the slightly longer walk from the train station.

Fantastic!
Fabulous hotel. Walking distance to local subway and Shinjuku stations. Lovely quiet location by the park yet still easily accessible to the bustling Shinjuku area. The restaurant and cafe are brilliant.
