We really enjoyed our stay at this funky but well done motel. It’s definitely not a cookie-cutter corporate mega hotel, but if you don’t mind something a little different, we recommend it. The pictures in the listing are accurate. The buildings are old but clean and maintained. The bed was the most comfortable of our two week trip, the location was quiet and close to hiking as well as town, and the service and “extras” here were a nice touch.

    Nice location

The main Lodge area was modern and clean. We had excellent service while checking in and were given recommendations for dining and biking. It is an easy bike into town from the lodge. The drive way was quite steep with a few potholes. The outdoor area around the lodge was very nice. There was a live blue grass band at the lodge on the last night of our stay. Out room was a little outdated and had a damp/musty smell - perhaps because our room had a 2 person jacuzzi.

Very peaceful place. The rooms were spacious. The property was pretty with a creek, hiking. One of those place where I drank my coffe outside every morning, took a walk/hike and didt feel like i had to lock my door.

    Seriously?

Oh come on, people! 8.4? Who writes these reviews? This is a very run-down motel back in a canyon about 10 minutes out of Boulder, with a rather treacherous single-lane bumpy dirt entrance road for two-way traffic. It's a long summer camp style building with one room next to another, old fashion key locks that barely work, a tiny pool, a really scuzzy hot tub, terribly old interiors. They don't clean your room during your stay, the bed was old and extremely hard, the window was broken, there is no AC, no cell reception, very poor internet, no clock, no USB ports, basically no type of "kitchen", and an old pushbutton phone (with red light!) for "emergencies"! Thin walls, terrible shower, and we were treated to the entrance of a group of loud Harley-Davidson's rolling in and a loud drunken fight on the dirt road outside our unit at 3:00 am. I went to look but my window curtain collapsed. Probably not a bad choice for young adults in Boulder to bike or rock-climb and don't want to camp.

First, the picture shown does not reflect on how the adventure lodge actually looks. It is quite rustic. Just an FYI, It does not have air conditioning. Not many amenities with this room. Clean and very basic.

The property is in a beautiful setting in Boulder Canyon. The room itself was cramped and not comfortable it was in need of updating as the furniture was worn out and torn. The bunkbed was crammed in front of the sink which made it difficult to use and the bunkbed itself was very uncomfortable. For $200 a night I would hope to at least have a clean comfortable room.
