Great location for the airport
This hotel was a great location for any of the terminals at the Haneda airport. Even though the hotel is located at the airport we did not notice any sound of the planes. There is a free shuttle provided between terminals so easy to get to and from each terminal. Shuttle bus stop is located outside, but under cover so you really don't even have to go out into the weather. It was cold and raining when we were there so this was a great benefit. Subway and Monorail is easily accessable from the Domestic terminal which is where this hotel is located. We opted for a room with 2 single beds as I am still not sure of the size of beds in Japan. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was great. Hotel room was in excellent condition. Since we arrived so early and had to store our luggage it was great to find our luggage in our room when we returned later in the day. Check in was quick and smooth. Most restaurants in the terminal close by 9:00 pm so make sure you get out to eat in plenty of time. Wish that there were more Western food choices other than McDonalds available in the terminal but this isn't the hotels issue. Would definitely stay there again if needed.

Finding the hotel is difficult
I arrived at the Haneda international terminal, there were no references to the hotel what so ever. I remembered that the hotel was located in the domestic terminal so I took the shuttle bus to the domestic terminal of which there are two. There was no reference to the hotel on the bus but I remembered from a previous trip that the hotel was near the ANA check in so I got off at terminal 2. No reference to the hotel at the entrance to terminal 2. I wandered around terminal 2 got looked at the directory and map and still could find no reference to the hotel I finally saw a sign that said hotel and walked that way until I found an elevator and took that up 1 floor. Things started looking familiar from my prior trip and I walked in the direction I thought the hotel was until I saw a sign that said hotel, I finally found the hotel but had I not been there before I'd probably still be looking for it. Somebody needs to talk to the people at the airport and get the hotel location included in the airport information system.

Exceptional 10.0
Understanding front desk
This hotel is really conveniently located if you have a flight at the crack of dawn and need to be as close to the airport as possible- the hotel is literally attached to the terminal. Hotel facilities are very fancy looking and amenities in the room are always very convenient and plentiful. I really appreciate the staff in this hotel accommodating my mistake as well! I booked my stay for the night after I actually needed to check in but the guy at the front desk told me it wasn't a problem and adjusted my stay to be that night. I had a mild heart attack when I realized I was about to be homeless for the night but the guy at the front desk was very accommodating and switched the dates quickly. Great hotel! Highly recommended!

Exceptional 10.0
Great hotel, communication in English is lacking.
While the front desk staff speaks English, it’s not good enough to communicate successfully. It’s hard to understand exactly what they’re asking, the enunciation is off.....AND, they cannot understand most of what you’re trying to say. If not for the intervention of our Japanese guide the following morning, we would’ve been forced to pay twice for our ‘pre-paid rooms’ through Expedia and correct it after arriving home. This happened when we arrived and also when we returned to the hotel 2 weeks later. It’s painful to reword everything you say repeatedly. It took 45 mins to check in the first day. Upon our return two weeks later, our Japanese guide followed us to hotel to make sure they accepted our Expedia pre-paid room information.. All of the staff were friendly and trying to be as helpful as they could.....but for an international airport hotel you’d think their training in English would be more extensive. This was a relatively simple thing, what if the problem was serious or a security issue?

Good 6.0
Bed far too hard
The hotel is hard to find. You need to actually ask someone as there are no signs clearly explaining its location until you get right into Terminal 2 and then you still need to search. The staff were pleasant but very little english was spoken. I understand it is not mandatory but it would have helped to have someone ot ask questions to. The room was very clean and spacious but the beds are horrible. I am sorry but it was actually like sleeping on the bottom part of a box spring they were so uncomfortably hard. I know some might say this is the norm but I disagree as we stayed in hotels in other cities in Japan. Sleep was impossible and actually if I could of found an alternative we would have left. I did not comment about the bed to anyone as the person who checked us out again never spoke english. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel in the future.
