one of my best hotel experiences in a long time...from the time I walked in the door, to getting assistance from Alvaro, my housekeeper, being served at the bar by Sam, to chatting with the valet, David on my way out...great team. great place. we'll be back.

Cool adaptive re-use from trade school to hotel
I stayed in a very nice room, on the smaller side but clean w/a comfortable king bed & high-top desk beneath the window. My main complaint is that the rooms are poorly designed for sleeping: LED lights everywhere! I covered the alarm clock & mini-fridge displays w/towels as these were right next to the bed. The worst offender is the blinding bathroom light on a motion sensor which you can't override. This may have been an energy efficiency choice but is absolutely terrible for sleep hygiene & there are other ways to conserve. Hilton, please give more attention to enhancing the quality of your guests' sleep.

A solid option
This place is very clean and neat as you might expect from their school theme. My room was very clean and everything from the shower to the mattress was top notch. The breakfast at the Teachers’ Lounge was unexpectedly delicious and I don’t think a better breakfast would’ve been found had I left the property that morning. We had some drinks at the bar during my trip and the mixologist/ bartender, Jose deserves recognition, if not a raise. He was attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable in his craft. I was also able to use the fitness center two times and found it to be quite functional and while small, had enough equipment for what I needed. The only downside to this place is that there is no swimming pool, sauna or hot tub. The coffee in the morning is very good however, it is not complementary. There is, however, a Keurig style machine in the room, which is complementary.

how long will training issues last
we had to break up payment upon arrival because since i have booked through a third party and I've done this before I wasn't charged as much money for my incidentals I was this time so we had to split payment was not told that that wasn't allowed so both cards got charged for my stay which left usin a rut since one card was flagged and closed account. so both cards charged incidentals theyvsaid it was a training issue. i stayed back in early summer and that problem was also a training issue. im not sure ill be back or recommended to my friends
