Nice, large room. Very clean and up to date. The patio looks over a small lake with birds. No breakfast, but Starbucks and lots of restaurants very close. Short drive to the cute downtown and to the Indiana Dunes Parks.

We enjoyed our stay here. The people that manage the property do a really good job. Yes, the fixtures and furniture are a bit dated but nothing was broken and everything was clean. My 7 year old enjoyed the pool and a cookie for bedtime snack. Parking was great. The only thing I will mention is that there are no elevators. This was not a problem for us, but I could see how it would be an issue for someone with limited mobility or if you have a lot of things to get to your room. I suggest a 1st or 2nd floor room as the hotel is built in a hill and the parking lot is on the 1st floor on one side and on the 2nd floor on the other. Overall, it really is a great place to stay and a good value.

The room was very small & although clean smelled musty. The air conditioning unit was old and very loud and did not work very well as the temperature in the room was not consistent. Bath amenities consisted of a tiny bar of soap which actually broke apart when using, and a tube of shampoo/conditioner (which was good). The good thing about the hotel was the breakfast and nighttime snacks, which were both very good. Photos online were deceiving. Would not stay again.
