Overall, great experience. Staff were very nice. Resort rules can be quite restrictive, We were stopped multiple times due to not having either a bottom or being a little wet to go to the food area. We had sarongs and were pretty much dry. We are in the middle of the beach and pool for goodness sake! The beach and pool were the best parts!

Very friendly staff. Very kid friendly. Beachfront is INCREDIBLE! Kids loved playing in the waves and watching the kite boarders. The hotel’s friendly cats along the paths were also a hit with all the guests. Room was clean but showing signs of wear and tear. Minor things like the phone didn’t work for 5 days, curtains barely moving. Lots of great restaurants to try only 5-10 minute walk along the beach into Cabarete.

The room was cleaned every day and the staff was very friendly with great service. Our room was on the 2nd floor above the bar and restaurants which was convenient, but could be loud at times. The people in the green shirts were relentless in wanting to sell you a membership. They weren't happy when I told them no. We were able to take a cab to spend the day at the Wyndham Heavens but liked the Viva Tangerine beach better.
