Overall Disappointing
Front desk staff was all very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff, not so much, actually quite rude. I realize they didn't speak much, if any English, but you should at least know "hello" and acknowledge that OR AT LEAST SMILE. If you want a chair on the beach, you have to be down at the beach by 6:45 or earlier to get a chair. Then wait an hour or so while he goes around to each chair to register each person. Even with doing so, be sure to bring your own towels, so it's easily identified as taken, because pool towels - people will take your chairs. This is NOT a private beach. Maybe the chairs are supposed to be, but that is it. We booked based on "private beach," however people from the neighboring hotel come and sit in the area and in front of and even people from the public beach, completely blocking the views of the ocean (with their chairs and tents) from said chairs at "private beach". All signs say no personal coolers/music; however, every day we would have someone nearby blasting their speaker ALL DAY and no staff would say anything. In the small spaces - not in open areas. Go to the public beach if you want to be a nuisance. So rude. Was also told that there is beach service from the restaurant. Out of 7 full days on the beach, we got this 1 time. Room was okay. Toilet would clog EVERY single day (not by our doing). Floors were filthy - made mistake of going barefoot and feet were black! The restaurant was pricey, but food was VERY good.

Nice property but zero chance of early check in
I was looking for a hotel on the beach with early check in. I knew the regular check in was 4pm, so i called before booking. I was told 2.30pm would be fine. We arrive at 2.30 and the room isnt ready. I left my phone number to call me when the room is ready although we were waiting in the lobby anyway. 3pm no room. 3.15pm still not ready. At 3.50pm the room was ready. I asked to speak with the Manager. He said check in was 4pm. I said i called ahead to ask and was told 2.30 would be fine before I paid online. I'm traveling with young kids and paying 355 per night plus a 30 resort fee!. It turns out it was that same Manager who told me 2.30pm on the phone. He said that he said the room should be ready early, not will be, but he offerred a refund. I know what he said on the phone and "should" was not said. My kids still wanted to stay so we did. I didnt like being mislead by the Manager on the phone. Its a nice hotel. The only problem was small food stains on the comforter and scratches on the toilet seat. If you want to stay at this hotel its not bad but look at other options for the money. You have ZERO chance at early check in before 4pm so dont let them lie to you. (But guests can get a wristband to visit beach while waiting) Also my "Ocean view" room on the 4th floor was roughly 80% obstructed by palm trees. I will search elsewhere next time in the luxury hotel market.

Beautiful resort right on the beach
The resort was beautiful, light and modern. The room was comfortable and clean. We booked a room with a partial ocean view and were very impressed with the view. The hotel next door is being renovated which caused some noise during the day time but it didn’t bother us and is beyond the control of this resort. Staff was friendly and wait staff got to know us. The beach staff was helpful getting us settled into a spot on the beach each morning. The on-site restaurant Deep served fantastic food and we loved the drinks. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and listening to live music. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Very picturesque. Convenient parking. Loved the balcony with a great view. Didn’t like no refrigerator or microwave and had to go to the 1st floor for ice and sometimes had to wait everyone used this machine. Also halls very narrow couldn’t pass luggage cart. Would stay again great private beach and drink service in beach

Decent
Overall a decent stay. Lots of value for the money. Common areas, pool, outdoor restaurant, and beach are all great. Service overall was also pretty good. The only real complaint we had was how noisy it could be, especially in the hallways outside our room—I’d recommend requesting a room as far away from the elevators as possible.

Outside area shines but is hampered by poor servic
This hotel has the potential to be something really good. The Tiki bar and restaurant has really good food but the service was consistently bad throughout the stay and it was 2 years prior. The lobby is beautiful with a nice coffee bar but underused as it closes at 2. Really nice bar on the beach with live music every night but again bad management is leading to very poor service. Fish tacos great. Drinks good. The staff was overall very friendly but the service needs an upgrade to really be a contender. We were there in Feb and it was too windy to enjoy the beach.
