Good location, small room, dirty carpet, lack of f
I have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel staff. Very nice and professional. The hotel itself is in a good location and a short walk to the metro. I was disappointed with the room. It was very small and with no space to place more than one suitcase. Walking around the bed was an ordeal since it took most of the space in the room. You had to walk sideways around the bed and the wall to get to the opposite side of the bed. While the square footage seems adequate (per the room's description), what you are not told is that a quarter of this is accounted for in stairs you descend from the room's entry down to the actual bedroom section. The carpet in this particular room was very old and had seen better days--it was obviously dirty. They had one chair to sit on next to the toilet, not in the actual room--because there was no space. I got an email from Orbitz a few days ahead of my stay alerting me to my and the hotel's VIP status and that I would get free breakfast and a bottle of wine. I got the breakfast--which was good--but not the wine. When I initially checked in at the hotel I got an email from Orbitz asking about the room and the check-in process and I commented on the room. The next day I got an email from Orbitz with a comment from the hotel saying they would follow up individually with me, but no follow-up occurred. Given the hotel is small, it appears that attention to detail is not necessarily a priority.

Do not recommend the Pradey
I had stayed previously at the Pradey for business about a month ago, for one night and had a good experience - although I was only there to sleep late and barely there. So I decided to book a family vacation there - we stayed 3 nights, and it was a terrible experience. The night shift at front desk seemed to be doing us a favor by checkin us in. The room we got was falling apart; we repeatedly asked for more towels and toiletries and never got them. The room telephone never worked, although we mentioned it to front desk several times and they said it would be fixed. The tub faucet had loose screws and fell apart from the pressure of the water, which we let the front desk know. While the morning front desk shift was very courteous, the late shift left a lot to be desired... And then... the hotel had the nerve to attempt to send me an invoice to charge us for the faucet which was falling apart as we noted to the front desk, from months (years?) of no maintenance. I would not recommend it, the only thing it has going for it is its great location (if you want to be near Rivoli and the Louvre).

A Hotel in Horrible Condition
Extremely disappointed by the condition of this hotel. Do NOT believe in the cute pictures being advertised. First of all, air-conditioning was not working at all during our stay and, after we told the hotel staff, nothing was done to fix this issue. We opened the window as a solution the first night and that did not end well. Our room was on the top floor and there were water puddle in the gutter right outside the window, which inevitably caused the presence of mosquito and, as a result, we got multiple mosquito bites overnight. Secondly, some of the light bulbs weren't working so lighting was not far from adequate during night time. Thirdly, there were actually BIG spider webs on the ceiling. We even spotted and killed two spiders in the room. This made it very questionable as to how thorough the cleaning was done in general as anyone would have easily noticed the spider webs. Fourthly, probably as a result of the air-conditioning not working, the room has the weird smell, those that are caused by the lack of air circulation. The location of the hotel is fantastic, but the condition of our room was extremely unacceptable. We couldn't wait till we were done with the two nights reservation so that we could get out of the hotel. After our stay, we reached out to the hotel via email to file a complaint and was accused back for not telling the staff our concerns during our stay. I would recommend avoiding this hotel altogether given the disconnect between price and condition.

Exceptional 10.0
It is easy to miss the entrance of Le Pradey on the quaint rue St Roch (pronounced st Rock). It is small, has a narrow registration hall, but a lounge in the mezzanine. Rooms are small (where not in Paris?) but well proportioned, adequate furniture, good lighting and very comfortable king bed (another reviewer said the contrary. No way!) bathroom large, very good quality products for buffet breakfast except for coffee (but I fussy), staff cheerful and helpful beyond the call of duty. And the location! Half a black downstreet and the Tuileries. Turn right and place de La Concorde. Turn left instead and Le Louvre am Notre Dame a little farther. Turn up street and the fashionable rue st honoreand in a couple of blocks Place Vendome. Couple more and Palais Garnier (L’Opera). After years of votin Parisxand hopping from one unsatisfactory hotel to another, now I found my home each time I visit the City of Lights

Nice hotel close to Louvre Museum
Great location, clean and big rooms, quite, friendly stuff. We had two regular rooms. They were identical. Big windows, clean and big bathroom, comfortable and large size bed. Elevator was pretty unstable but a plus. We had breakfast at the hotel once, open buffet had many items like cheese, meat, fresh eggs, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and nice bread options. Coffee room was absolutely wonderful. Great little area to chat and enjoy perfect free coffee and herbal tea. We started and end the day there :) Hotel umbrellas were a good addition. We comfortably walked to places like Concorde Place, Louvre Museum and Notre Dame. Don't forget to walk thru streets behind the hotel. Many wonderful cafe and family friendly restaurants there. Angelina is around the corner. Oh and Ferris wheel is just few steps away and had the best view. Many souvenir shops, ice cream shop, sweet shops are all at the walking distance. I'd go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone.
