Weekend Break
Very average, but very expensive hotel close to the Markt Square. breakfast was good but again very expensive, hot food was dreadful! Bar was managed in the evening by the receptionist so she was run off her feet, very friendly but this place is understaffed. Room was very, very small and this hotel is NOT a 4 * hotel, it was very expensive and honestly not worth the money. Room was small , bathroom had a shower over the bath and again was tiny. Hotel was situated by canal. I had spoken to the hotel on numerous occasions over the last 3 years due to having to cancel for Covid reasons. The receptionist had no clue I had been in contact with the hotel, was not at all interested and was rude. I would have immediately sacked her as incompetent!! The room had a badly stocked mini bar, and the hotel safe , was a safe but as you can see in one of the pictures even I could pick it up, hardly secure for any valuables you may have. Overall we loved Bruges and the restaurants we went to, however I would never recommend the Ter Brughe hotel and it is NOT a 4 star hotel 1 star if anything!! The view from our room window was pathetic (see photo) the rooms had paper thin walls so no privacy , there was noise from the fire escape early on the sunday morning and very noisy from the old stair case. So all in all a dreadful room not worth the amount we paid!

One of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. A great view over the canal, just a great hotel. My only complaint is the parking. You have to park on the road which if fine in the evening. However between 9am and 8pm it costs €14 for 4 hours. This is not the hotel implementing these costs. Its the local rules
