Kamana Lakehouse was exactly the experience I expected to have. The coffee and breakfast were amazing! It was really nice to snuggle up next to the fire in the lounge and enjoy their great cocktail selection. The view was beautiful. I will say we had three rooms all varying in price and the cheapest was still just as good as the premium lake-view rooms.

My partner and I absolutely loved Kamana Lakehouse. It was very clean, well maintained and the staff were all very friendly. Easily the best stay we had in NZ despite us traveling from Christchurch all the way to Queenstown. The ambience of the hotel made us feel very comfortable.

For the price paid, the experience was disappointing. Have to say, the hotel is way overpriced for what they offer. No regular amenities (gym etc). Charges $100 extra for 30min spa use. However, the staff are very friendly.
