Another ok stay at Scandic Solsiden
We've stayed at Solsiden before and it an ok hotel for this price level. Clean, good elevator capacity and indoorparking, though you need to pay for the parking. Breakfast is also ok, the covid situation considered. The location is convenient with access to restaurants and shopping. A short walk to the city square and Nidelven.

Good stay. Great staff. I feel the Scandic chain needs to step it up with amenities in the rooms. A little coffee or tea can go a long way!

A great place to stay with it's location and comfortable rooms. There were some disappointments with breakfasts, their vegan choice was not so great, but it might just be because of the Corona rules and the way they have to serve things now. Otherwise a very good few nights!

Good value for money
Really nice stay. Amazing breakfast buffet. The wifi connection required several logins after just 2-3 hours which was a little annoying. But the signal was strong once connected. Also, the hotel states it has loan bikes available on both the website and in brochures in the room. This is not the case, and the receptionists referred me to the city bikes (not free and with a time restriction so not the same thing).

Hotel staff are wonderful, super kind and helpful. Breakfast in the atrium is great. Check in was ok, we were given a room that wasn't ready but we were quickly re-issued another room.
