Upon entering the lobby to checkin there was a guest at the front desk not wearing a mask despite the Halton Region requirement for masks to be worn inside all public areas and signs posted throughout the hotel advising guests that masks were mandatory. Enroute to our room on the third floor we encountered two more guests in the corridors who were also not wearing masks. Upon reaching our room before we had our door open the room directly across the hall had the door proped open with extremely loud music playing. I immediately returned to the front desk, requested and was given another room on the ground floor near the front desk and informed the front desk personnel of the issues of guests not wearing masks and the noise. The room was spotlessly clean as usual for this hotel and the front desk personnel are excellent.

The receptionist was not there when we arrived and we waited several minutes. She was friendly, but there was not apology. The room was clean. The common areas should have more hand sanitizer stations available. The breakfast "buffet" is now served by a staff member. It was a little awkward. They were out of brown bread on Saturday morning (really?) The stay was OK.
