A great place to stay.
One of the very best hotels I have stayed in. Beautiful room with stunning view. Good food. Excellent service. Really appreciated the special such as the treasure chest of toys—my granddaughters each chose one. Location is wonderful. A great place to stay.

Gem of a Stay
Great atmosphere and service. From the doorman to the bartenders, everyone was welcoming and warm. Room was exquisitely designed and the location is superb. The only downside to an amazing stay would have been that the bed and pillows weren't as comfortable as I would've hoped for such a luxurious hotel.

Excellent customer service, beautiful hotel, fantastic location.

Poor 2.0
Sink in bathroom clogged, no food available at 2nd floor restaurant bar after 10PM, moved to lobby level bar, it took 15 minutes for server to come take our drink order, another 15 minutes to deliver drink. we were going to order food but decided not to because of the extremely slow service. Had an issue with billing, still waiting for a return call from the manager on has been 2 days so far. My family and I have been going to this hotel for years during the holidays and anytime we are in the Philadelphia area. We will no longer be staying at The Rittenhouse.

Middle ground for 5 star
I frequently stay at this hotel for business and the past two stays when I have arrived, completely exhausted, my room has not been ready. I have waited up to four hours and checked into my room at 8 PM. The front desk frequently is not informed about what is going on what my preferences are and doesn’t understand me as a regular guest.

Rittenhouse Fails on Every Level
I don't know what happened to this hotel. My room had a smell to it as if someone had spilled an entire bottle of carpet cleaner in it. I had one bath towel. I asked for more towels, it took two and a half hours for me to get the towels. Then came the in room dining disaster. I ordered two well done hamburgers. I was very specific about no cheese (I have a dairy allergy). I was very clear, no french fries. I ordered a Caesar Salad. The hamburgers were medium rare, covered in the worst smelling cheese I can describe. The Caesar Salad was not edible. The lettuce was soaked beyond comprehension or description in the dressing, and appeared to have been left out for hours upon hours. It was, by far, the single most disgusting looking salad I've ever seen. How can a 4 1/2 star hotel even think of delivering this to someone's room? I have stayed at this property before.I cannot believe how downhill it has gone. This is not a note of disappointment. I must candidly admit, my experience at this hotel has me outraged.

Location is great. Hotel is beautiful.
This hotel is in a great location. Close to the historical sites and to the market. Staff was very nice and the room was quite large.
