This place is incredible. The hotel has done a wonderful job preserving its history and character while still making everything feel exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Every detail feels both classic and luxurious, and you get the sense that you're staying somewhere truly special. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt different from a typical hotel stay. We loved that the valet personally walked our luggage up to our room. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the level of service throughout our visit. We also really enjoyed the patio and spent some time up there with drinks from the fantastic bar. The breakfast was one of the best meals of our trip. The robes, slippers, bath products, and all the little details exceeded my expectations. Everything about the experience felt elevated without being stuffy. The Capital Hotel was absolutely worth the extra money, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend.

The room was very clean. We did find that the TV remote in room 310 batteries are almost dead and need replacing. There was a light out in the bathroom and the shower pull plunger on the bathtub came out when we started the shower one time. We were able to get it back in but it should be fastened correctly.
